Property Management Services Saint George, Utah |

Lynx Properties was founded in 2006 by Rod and Joyce Ohlwiler, after finding many people wanted a higher level of service than they were currently receiving from many of the property management companies in Washington County.
Rod has
almost 20 years experience in the real estate industry both as a
Realtor and as a licensed Broker, and currently holds Broker's licenses in
2 states. Rod learned the real estate and property management
business during his real estate career in California. Over these
years Rod managed properties for many clients and investors. Early in 2001, Rod was invited to join & become one of the
shareholder / owners of Regency Real Estate Brokers. Formed in 1995,
Regency at that time was a "unique" concept in real estate...Regency
was a company
consisting of 33 agents who were the sole Broker / Owners and equal
shareholders of their own firm. Becoming a shareholder / owner at
Regency was by
"invitation only" to agents who had a solid reputation for
honesty, longevity, and integrity in real estate, in addition to high real
estate sales. In 2004, Rod was elected to serve on Regency's Board
of Directors. Knowing he would be eventually be relocating to Saint
George, Rod obtained his Broker's license for Utah in 2004, and commuted
bi-weekly back and forth from both markets until his Board of Directors
term at Regency was completed in
2005. After knowing his commitment to Regency was complete, Rod
sold his share of Regency stock back to
the company and he & Joyce made their final transition to the Saint George area.
Joyce was also a licensed Realtor in California, working with Rod under
his Broker's license for several years. In addition to running the
office, she also had experience in assisting clients in servicing their
properties. After relocating here and drawing on her experience,
Joyce was asked by former associates and friends who owned property in the
Saint George area to help them with various details of their ownership and
rentals in the area. It was while she was working with these people,
she heard of problems from some owners who were unhappy
with the service level of some area management companies they were using. Knowing the only way they could resolve these problems would be to start their own company - they decided to do so. Utah law does not allow a Realtor to manage property independently (as other states do) AND also sell real estate unless you are a Principal Broker. Since Rod had his Utah Broker's license, they elected to start their own management company - with special attention to the service side of the business. As his own Broker, this would allow Rod to continue his real estate sales, but allow Joyce to manage properties for their clients independently. With a combined 25 years property management and real estate experience, Rod works strictly the real estate side of Lynx Properties, and Joyce works strictly as a Property Manager. Each part of the business is separate and distinct of the other. Even one of their policies is that they do not solicit clients from other Realtors who refer their management business to LYNX. If an agent sends a client to us for management - when it is time for that client to sell their property - the client is referred BACK to that agent to sell the house. LYNX prides itself on honesty, ethics, and above all...service. Our mission is to provide the BEST level of service to the people of Washington County with a professional property management company, using the best resources available which includes state-of-the-art computer management software.
We have the experience. |
